He was predeceased by: his parents, Zygmunt Gwardyak (John) and Olga Gwardyak (Alice); his siblings, Gregory and Barbara; and his son Michael-John.
He is survived by: his wife Marian; his children, Amanda (Amy) and Joseph; his grandchildren, Violet and Xavier; his sister Susan; his brother-in-law John Emmetsberger; his brother John Gwardyak; and his sister-in-law Karen Zambelli.
