He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleonora Petriello; his children, Vito Petriello (Christina) and Sabatino Petriello (Melania); his grandchildren, Sophia, Francesca, Luigi and James Petriello; his siblings, Joseph (Angela) and Pasqua Valvano (Angelo); his siblings-in-law, Rosetta Sgobbo-Cipriano, Domenico Cipriano, Giuseppina Sgobbo-Maiorano and Rocco Maiorano; his nieces and nephews, Feleciano, Maria, Brigida Valvano, Monicia, Isabella, Linda Cipriano, Simona and Erika Maiorano; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Melina, Angelo, Valentina, Iliaria, Noemi, Alica and Lilly; and his parents, Vito Petriello and Brigida Salerno.
