Howard of Mt; and siblings, Wilmer Slade of Bronx, NY, Samuel Slade of Huntsville, Michael Slade of Bridgeport, Marie Wiggins of Bridgeport, Mary Clarke of Mehankin, NJ, Aretha Slade of Woodbridge, NJ and Alice Dorsey of Long Island, NY.. Gilford is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
