He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rocco Maiorano and Anna Maiorano; his wife Vituccia; his children, Rocco (Mirella) and Vera Scavone (Sam); his grandchildren, Samantha (Jason), Anthony (Kathryn), Matthew, Kirsten (Tommy), Celia and Grace; and his great grandchildren, John Paul, Michael, Nathan and Anthony Jr. Each.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home (584 Gramatan Ave, Mt Vernon, NY 10552). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul-St. Ursula Church (129 E Birch St, Mt Vernon, NY 10552). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (10 W Stevens Ave, Hawthorne, NY 10530).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Ersilio's honor.
