Carol A. Salter Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol A. Salter of Mount Vernon, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Agnes Salter and William C Salter; her brother William Jr.; her significant other Donald Risman; and her close friend Loretta.

She is survived by: her niece Selma (Peter); her great-niece Willa; her great-nephew Ben; her son Lawrence (Diane); her grandson James; and her pet Cocoa. She is also survived by loving her family, her pets, all animals and having zest.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Yonkers Animal Shelter and the Wounded Warrior Project.
