She was predeceased by: her husband Leonido Fernandes Monteiro; and her grandson David. She is survived by: her children, Al Monteiro, Elvira Monteiro Leal and Maria Monteiro Neto; her grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Matthew, Amanda, Mario and Alex; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Andrew Noah and Audrey.
