Shirley E. Porter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley E. Porter of Mount Upton, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Steffen and Lillian Steffen (Felker); her husband William Porter; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Porter and Tony Porter.
She is survived by: her son Daniel; her daughters-in-law, Peggy Quiter, Donna Quiter, Judy Quiter and Cindy Brown; her siblings-in-law, James Porter (Jane), Patricia Hunt (John), Barbara Ladner, Lynn Porter and Betty Calamia (Shirley Ashley); her sons, John Quiter, Michael Quiter and Floyd; and her niece Denise Brown. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Brookside Cemetery.
