We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 88, Barbara Ann McElroy of Mount Upton, New York, born in Jersey City, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Barbara Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McElroy and Helen McElroy (Papin); her cousins, Margaret (Peggy), Agnes and Theresa; her brother Thomas McElroy; and her pet Bobo.
She is survived by: her caregivers, Nancy, Bill and Alex Joslyn of Mt. Upton; and her close friend Ernie.
