He was predeceased by: his parents, Johannes Staritz and Hildegard Staritz (Masalsky). He is survived by: his wife Christine; his son Peter Staritz (Amy) of Pittsburgh, PA; his grandchildren, Natalie, Luke, Katie and Caleb; and his brothers, Peter and Klaus.
