He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor A. Hughes and Ann Finnegan Hughes; his wife Frances Didio; and his siblings, Mary Arbitrio and David Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Roseann Hagen (John), Peter (Patty), Andrew and David (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Peter Hagen (Jody), Cathy DiRienzo (Dave), Elizabeth Hagen, Lauren, Jackie, Brenna Hughes and Kayla; his great grandchildren, Eric, Mikayla, Ryan Hagen, Julianna and Dominic DiRienzo; and his brother Paul J. Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
