He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stack of County Mayo; his children, Joan Mahoney, Patrick Stack and Catherine Stack; his grandchildren, Emily Stack, Hannah Stack, Michael Mahoney, Kate Mahoney, Hunter Stack and Harper Stack; and his sister Joan Brandon. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
