Frank Chimento Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Chimento of Danbury, CT, born in New Rochelle, New York, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 77.

He was predeceased by his parents Frank Chimento and Alzira Chimento (Monteiro).
He is survived by his devoted wife Anna Marie Chimento, proud father to his son and daughter in law William and Maureen Chimento:, his loving daughter and son in law Stefanie and Marcus Hanlon. Frank was a loving “Pop Pop” to his five beautiful granddaughters, Kailee and Mackenzie Chimento, Caitlyn, Alyssa and Leah Hanlon. He is also survived by his brother John Chimento.

“Chipper” was a fantastic athlete as he played multiple sports throughout his life. He was a star pitcher for multiple travel softball teams in New Rochelle along with being an avid golfer and bowler.

He also loved being involved with all of his five granddaughters sports and activities. He was extremely proud of them as they brought him great joy.

Chipper will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
