He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Kirkaldy and Elizabeth Kirkaldy; his wife Teresa Kirkaldy; his son Keith Kevin (Joyce); his grandsons, Keith James (Hannalore), Kevin Alexander (Emily) and Jason Christopher Kirkaldy; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, Kevin Sawyer and Jocelyn Kirkaldy.
He also volunteered for Glendale Mayor's Committee for the Handicapped (ADA), American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, La Canada AM Kiwanis and Brother's Helpers preparing food to be served downtown Los Angeles to those in need.
