It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wood Loomis (Morrisville, New York), born in North Pitcher, New York, who passed away on June 17, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Claudia Alice Soule Loomis; his children, Heidi Mulcahy (Denis), Jamie Kent (Eric) and Richard Loomis (Alison); his grandchildren, Ashley Wightman (Zach), Daniel Kent, Andrew Kent, Kaitlyn Mulcahy, Denis Mulcahy Jr., Lindsay Mulcahy, Benjamin Loomis, Joseph Loomis, Walter Loomis and Levi Loomis; and his parents, Ashville Verne Loomis and Hazel Wood Loomis.
In lieu of flowers, contributions towards a student scholarship in Richard's name may be made to "MECS Business Office," 5061 Fearon Rd., Morrisville, NY 13408 with "Coach Loomis Scholarship" noted in the memo line.
