He was predeceased by: his children, Leisa and Jack; and his brothers, Barry and Dale. He is survived by: his parents, Everette C., Sr. and Elizabeth Slocum Armstrong; his wife Rachael; his son Dale Armstrong; his daughter-in-law Diane Armstrong of Earlville; his granddaughter Liesa Armstrong of Morrisville; his sisters, Lori Senior of Camden and Kathy Schultz of Westmoreland; his sister-in-law Linda Coffin Armstrong of Rome; and his niece Karly.

He was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans and manned a donation booth at the NY State Fair on their behalf.
