We are sad to announce that on October 2, 2019, at the age of 65, Dennis Degroat (Morrisville, New York), born in Hamilton, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl J. DeGroat and Ximena Bliss DeGroat; and his brother Douglas. He is survived by: his children, Hillary Kearns (Michael) of East Islip, NY and Allen DeGroat (Michelle) of Patchogue, NY; his sisters, Diane McDonough (Peter) of Utah, Joan DeGroat-Ives (Gerald) of Wellsville, NY and Susan Marshall (Charlie) of North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Mayah Bliss, Avery Kearns, Cobie and Nathaniel DeGroat. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the Peterboro United Methodist Church.
