Palermo-Bogardus; his daughters, Nicole LaPlante (Andrew) of Peru, NY, Mandy Bogardus, Saranac Lake and Katie Kyle (Tim); his stepchildren, Dave Ayling (Jesse Heider-Ayling) of Toledo, OH and Becca Bley; his brothers, James "Jim" (Penny), Morristown, Bob (Helga), John (Fran) and Delmar; and his parents, James Harry Jr. and Ruth Helen Witherhead Bogardus. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
