He was predeceased by: his daughter Nancy Jane; his parents, Ross Pelletier and Regina Pelletier; and his siblings, Ronald Pelletier and Sandi Embree-Dubois.

He is survived by: his daughter Robin Aycock (Eric); his brothers, William Pelletier (Barb) and Raymond Pelletier (Linda); his grandchildren, Aaron Curry, Kristin Stevens (Morgan) and Victoria Bickford; and his great grandchildren, Braeden Curry, Arya Stevens and Colt Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the VA Hospital of Albany, NY.
