He is survived by: his wife Johanne Hagar of Morrisonville; his sons, Benjamin (Chantale Hagar) of Cape Coral, FL, Peter (Susan Hagar) of Morrisonville, NY, David (Irina Hagar) of Morrisonville, NY and William Hagar of Perryville, MD; his grandchildren, Gregory Hagar (Tabitha Yousko) of Wendell, NC, Dimitri Hagar (Allison Moore) of Plattsburgh, NY, Jackson, Maxwell Hagar of Perryville, MD, Nicholas, Thomas and Maria Hagar of Morrisonville, NY; his sister-in-law Carol Hagar of Indian Trails, NC; and his nieces and nephews, Gretchen Schwartz, Lorelei Hahn, Charly Hagar, Jimmy Hagar, Alec Halstead and Daniel Butts.
In lieu of flowers the family encourages a donation to the Salvation Army or to a local north country charity.
