He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Miller and Mabel Miller (Gifford); his wives, Janet Card and Luella; his children, Deanna Wallace and Ronald Miller, Jr.; and his stepson Steward Card.
He is survived by: his sons, Randall (Jean) of Ellenville and Joseph (Lucinda) of Morris; his sister Joan Valentine (Bill); his children, Matthew (Jordan Schorer) of Morris and Olivia Austin (David) of Newport; and his stepchildren, Debra Card (Russell), Cheryl Yatsonsky (Paul), Doug Card (Lisa), Kelly Card, Janet Whitbeck (Michael) and Harold Card (Marlinda). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
