He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Althiser and Anna Althiser (Matula). He is survived by: his close friend Liz Christman; his children, Pamela and Gerry, Jr.; and his siblings, Lloyd, Paul, Larry Althiser (Julia), Linda Bellefeville, Sharon Stack and Julia Elizabeth Kristofik. He is also survived by grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
