He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Smith and Cora Smith (Pritchard); his daughter Tayne; his son-in-law Ronald Ferris; his grandchildren, Shawn and Kyle Ferris; and his brothers, Ernie and Leon Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Smith (Noll); his son Todd Smith (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Tyler Ferris, Jacob Smith, Jordan Ferris, Emmalyn Hatfield (Bobbie) and Ryan Ferris; his siblings, Herbert Smith (Kathy), Randy Smith (Tammy) and Joyce Russel; and his sisters-in-law, Yvonne Smith and Jean Maxam. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
