He is survived by: his parents, Russell J. Stapleton and Elizabeth Mirra Stapleton of Wurtsboro; his son Joseph Stapleton of Poughkeepsie; his sister Amy Stapleton (Danny Velez); his niece Vivian of Wurtsboro; and his pet Jack Murray Stapleton.
