He is survived by: his wife Frances Mitchell (Albanese); his children, Linda (Steve Maddox), Mark (Ellen Mitchell) and Miriam (Vincent Sciglio); his grandchildren, Kristopher Maddox, Francis Maddox, Anthony, Rebecca Maddox, Melissa, Brian Nixon, Sarah, Alden Westerdale, Dominic Sciglio and Alexander Sciglio; and his great grandchildren, Audrey Nixon and Emery Maddox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
