He was predeceased by: his parents, Iola B. Wienkoop and Herbert H. Wienkoop; and his son Herbert. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne M. Wienkoop; his daughters, Catherine B. Smith (Adam), Jill Davis (James) and Sara J. Dyckman (John); his grandchildren, Ryan (Aline), William (Laura), Matthew Smith, Tyler, Meghan Davis, Jack and Grace Dyckman; and his great grandchild Owen Smith.
