He was predeceased by: his father Salvatore Carano; his wife Barbara Carano; his son David Carano; and his grandson Joshua Westlake. He is survived by: his children, Michael Carano (Lynn), Linda Westlake (Warren), Susan Mitchell (late Bruce Mitchell) and Gary Carano (Gwen Cianfaglione); his grandchildren, Liz Larson, Emily Westlake, Lindsey Toia, Adam Carano and Michelle Monroy; his great grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Emma Larson, Cameron Scott, Nikki, Andy and Joseph Toia; and his sisters, Dolly Pericelli, Jo Hurt and Tina Hakoum.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in memory of Ray to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
