He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Dyke and Caroline Van Dyke; his wife Joan Van Dyke; his brothers, Richard and Stephen Van Dyke; his daughter Laurie Small; and his granddaughter Christina Small.
He is survived by: his sister Barbara Tyshchenko; his children, Judith Rotella (John), Mark Van Dyke (Bree) and Jill Achacoso (Rolando); his son-in-law William E. Small; his grandchildren, Tara Maddi (Joe), William J. Small (Tori), Pamela Mason (Sean), Mark Jake, Chloe Van Dyke and Ethan Achacoso; and his great grandchildren, Sean, Sabrina Mason, Cyana and Reese Small. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
