It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette Wood (Montrose, New York), who passed away on May 8, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bette Wood to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her children, Allison C. (Oscar Cerreño) of Cerreño and Adam Cotumaccio (Laurie); her grandchildren, Benjamin, Alex Cerreño, Aaron and Amanda Cotumaccio; her sisters, Sylvia Rubin, Leona Douglas and Linda Wolin (Russell Wood); her nephews, Mark (Kathy) and Alan (Tracey); and her grandchildren, Heather Longo, Michael Wood, Christopher, Meghan Hopkins, Danelle and Kevin Wood.

At the request of the family, please wear a face mask while attending the service.

Donations may be sent in memory of Bette Wood to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a pediatric treatment and research facility, focused on children's catastrophic diseases, particularly leukemia and other cancers or Southern Poverty Law Center, a legal advocacy organization specializing in civil rights and public interest litigation.
