She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ronan and Nellie Ronan (Brown); her son David Carano; her grandson Josh Westlake; her siblings, Robert Ronan, Carol Gagliardi and John Ronan; and her son-in-law Bruce Mitchell.

She is survived by: her husband Crocifisso Ramon Carano; her children, Michael Carano (Lynn), Linda Westlake (Warren), Susan Mitchell and Gary Carano; her siblings, Bonnie Despres, Elizabeth Schwind, Roberta Calmbacher and Christopher Ronan; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Adam, Michelle and Emily; her stepgranddaughter Altaira Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Timothy, Cameron, Nikki, Emma and Andy.
