It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Ora Carano (Montrose, New York), born in Newburyport, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ronan and Nellie Ronan (Brown); her son David Carano; her grandson Josh Westlake; her siblings, Robert Ronan, Carol Gagliardi and John Ronan; and her son-in-law Bruce Mitchell.

She is survived by: her husband Crocifisso Ramon Carano; her children, Michael Carano (Lynn), Linda Westlake (Warren), Susan Mitchell and Gary Carano; her siblings, Bonnie Despres, Elizabeth Schwind, Roberta Calmbacher and Christopher Ronan; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lindsey, Adam, Michelle and Emily; her stepgranddaughter Altaira Mitchell; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Timothy, Cameron, Nikki, Emma and Andy.
