He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Simmons and Margaret Simmons (Nichols); his daughter Lisa Minakowski; and his brother Richard Simmons. He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Barrett (Joe) of Middletown, DE, Brian Simmons (Betsy) of Raleigh, NC and Scott Simmons (Betty Ann) of Media, PA; his son-in-law Chris Minakowski of Huntingtown, MD; his brother Tim Simmons (Peggy) of Flushing, NY; and his former wives, Jacqueline Peddigree and Mary McNichols. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vedder Scott & Zinger Funeral Home (122 N Genesee St, Montour Falls, NY 14865).
