She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Nelson and Katherine Nelson (Nichols); her husband Charles H. "Chuck" Stewart; and her siblings, Margie, Carl, Bob and Kay.
She is survived by: her son Rick; her daughter-in-law Sandy Stewart of Columbia, MD; her daughter Cathi Lynn Allen of Dayton, TN; her grandchildren, Alicia Yuhas (Duane) of Mount Airy, MD, Melissa Harmon (Phillip) of Essex, MD and Jacob Allen of Dayton, TN; her great grandchildren, Tristan Yuhas of Mount Airy, MD and Trent Yuhas of Mount Airy, MD; her sister Dana Nelson of Lakeland, FL; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Everett (Tracy) of Spring Hill, FL and Cathy Wilkins (Larry) of Ovid. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many dear friends.
