She was predeceased by: her parents, Almon S. McCarty and Dorothy McCarty (Updike). She is survived by: her husband Sylvester William Payne; her children, Tammy Payne, Charles Payne of Wood River and William Payne of Montour Falls, NY; her brother Almon M. McCarty (Patty); her close friend Ruthie Hayes; her family, Cindy Bacon, Anthony Ellington and Pamela Morris; and her caregiver Pam Parker. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lillian's memory to the Dementia Society of America or the Montour Falls United Methodist Church.
