We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2023, at the age of 68, Gary L. Ector of Montour Falls, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ector, (Sample) and Walter Ector, Sr.; his parents-in-law, Blanche and Thomas Collins; his uncle Frank Sample; his friend Russell James Cornell; and his sister-in-law Patricia Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Katrina (Collins); his sons, James Ector (Deb) and Michael Ector (Suzette); his niece Jessica Collins; his goddaughter Jackie Riley Hollar; his foster daughter Beth Richards; his grandchildren, Alexxis, Dylan, Collin and Wyatt Ector; his great-niece Kennedy Grace; his sisters, Blanche Bowen (George) and Louise Sills (Leslie); his stepsister Kathy Sample; his brothers, Walter Siedel (Rita), Joseph Ector (Vicky), Charles Ector (Joy) and Walter Ector, Jr. (Denise); his stepbrother Daniel Teed (Helen); his siblings-in-law, Deb Riley (TJ), Cindy Rumsey (Rocky), Thomas Collins, Steve Collins (Janet), Joe Collins (Julie) and Tim Collins (Wendy); his cousins, Julie Rinker (Larry) and John Robert Ganung (Deb); his nieces, Jackie Collins and Desra Clemons; his friend Linda West; and also, Gary, Robert Brooke (Kathleen Proctor) and James Guild (Rebecca). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
