She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Jacksonville; her parents, Dealton Thurber and Maude Davis; her husband William Hughes Sr.; her children, Barbara Hughes Workman (Francis Elliott), Amy Hughes and William Hughes Jr. (Heather); her granddaughters, Emma and Olivia Hughes; her sisters, Beverly Gaffney (John) and Roberta Eggleston (Marvin); her brothers-in-law, Collin Campbell and Francis Mettler; her grandparents, Benjamin and Ida Pearl Thurber; her son-in-law Butch McComb; and her siblings, Dealton Thurber Jr., Estella Mettler and Mabel Campbell. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
