Vera Bernhardt Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vera Bernhardt (Monticello, New York), who passed away on August 3, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Walter Barber; her daughter Wendy Herbert; and her sisters, Myrtle Price and Madeline Lewis. She is survived by: her parent Stella Hulse Barber; her spouse Leland Bernhardt; her daughters, Glenna Price (Vince) of Monticello and Dawn Riley (Pat) of Amsterdam; her son-in-law James Herbert of Ferndale, NY; her sister Wanita Thomas of Prescott; and her grandchildren, James Price (Nancy), Cathy Hurney of Monticello, Leeann Fahnestock (Chris) of Matamoras, PA, Crystal Delfino (John) of Monticello, Karen Escobar (Edward) of Monroe, NY, Michael Osborn (Cathy) of Monticello and Shawn Herbert (Krystal) of Liberty, NY. She is also survived by great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Vera's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
