He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Buckles Sr. and Lucille McGuire Buckles; and his sister Norine Michel of Grahamsville, NY. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stainbrook Buckles; his children, Robin Buckles of Monticello, Robert Buckles (Daniella) of Rock Hil, Brent Buckles (Georgia) of Ocean View, DE and Susan Buckles of Syracuse; and his nieces, Karen Michel of Grahamsville and Kathy Moore of Liberty. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the VanInwegen Kenny Funeral Home (401 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
