We are sad to announce that on December 15, 2022, at the age of 85, Robert A. Yakin Sr. (Monticello, New York), born in Somerville, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Yakin and Elinora Yakin; his brothers, Richard and Raymond; and his brother-in-law George Kelley.
He is survived by: his friends, George and Peter; his children, Robert Jr. (Christine) of Bethel, NY, Helen (Michael) of Myakka City, Fla and Heather (Michael) of Cornwall, NY; his siblings, Roberta of Monticello, NY, Ronalda (Peter) of Monticello, NY and Ronald (Jenny) of Peekskill, NY; his grandsons, Joshua and Justin; his nieces, Brooke and Sara (Tim); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Roberts and Julia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the Monticello Volunteer Fire Department in Monticello, NY.
