With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard J. Degroot of Monticello, New York, born in Northampton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 9, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel DeGroot and Frank DeGroot. He is survived by: his wife Frances DeGroot; his daughter Melissa Bailey (Jenna Imes) of Allentown; and his sister Terry DeGroot of Schnecksville.

Donations in his name can be made to local shelters and animal rescues.
