She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Schumer and Sarah Garson Schumer; her brother Steven Schumer; and her uncle Dave "Cookie" Gerson. She is survived by: her children, Robert Schwartz and Jodi Mantia; her nephews, Brett, Leslie and Jazzy Schumer; and her great-nephew Jonah Schumer.
