It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian Ernst of Monticello, New York, who passed away on May 27, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Otto "Sonny" Ernst; her parents, Claude Messenger and Edith Messenger of Monticello; and her siblings, Claude, Howard Messenger and Ella Price.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Edwards (Peggy) of Monticello, Janie Ernst of Milton, DE, Sue Ernst Jahn of Monticello and William Ernst of Katy, TX; her son-in-law Thomas Edwards; her siblings, LeRoy Messenger and Nancy Messenger; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Messenger, Joan Allison and Grace Davis. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
