Levon Snowden Sr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Levon Snowden Sr. (Monticello, New York), who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rayfield Snowden and Leeida Johnson Snowden; his wife Mary Hooks Snowden; and his sons, Mack and Michael Snowden.
He is survived by: his children, Levon Snowden (Ella) of Monticello, NY, John Snowden of Brooksville, FL, Robert Snowden (Juanita) of Raleigh, NC, Mary Hopkins of Monticello, NY and Mamie Ward (Kenneth) of Raleigh, NC; his sisters, Ida Lee Barnes of Bromley, AL and Louise Massey of Rochester, NY; and his daughters-in-law, JoAnn Snowden and Shirley Snowden of Monticello, NY. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the fund that has been established with the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
