It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John R. Jurgens of Monticello, New York, born in Vineland, New Jersey, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan B. Jurgens (Naubereit); his parents, Otto Jurgens and Myrtle Jurgens; and his brothers, Tommy, Robert, James and William Jurgens.
He is survived by: his children, Diane B. Jurgens and David T. Jurgens (Christina); his grandchildren, Devan C. Jurgens and Jesse D. Jurgens (Courtney); and his siblings, Ralph Jurgens (Anne), Doris Rafuse and Judy Trestyn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; and the rest of his extended family.
Social distancing guidelines set forth by the state of New York will be followed, masks are required to be worn at all times.
