She is survived by: her significant other Johnny Mack Crandell; her children, Jeremy Pineda (Brenda) of Wurtsboro, NY and Jonina Crandell of Monticello, NY; her stepdaughter Jonelle Bowers of Monticello, NY; her sisters, Kathleen Crandell (Gene) of Monticello, NY, Patricia Spencer (Mike) of Athens, PA, Jacqueline Blake of Corning, NY and Ardie Mae DeMellier of New Smyrna Beach, FL; and her parents-in-law, Shirley, Barbara, Glenda, Alander and Lonnie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.

Although I did not know Joann personally, I wanted to express my condolences to the family during your loss. I also wanted to share some comfort from the Bible: in John chapter 5 verses 28 & 29 it says that all those in the memorial tombs or graves will hear God's voice and come out. So this can give you a wonderful hope that you can see Joann again in the future. I hope this brings you some comfort.”
