We are sad to announce that on November 7, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Janette Whitaker of Monticello, New York, born in Ellenville, New York. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odell Whitaker Sr. and Lillie Mae Peterson Whitaker; her grandmother Bessie Peterson; and her siblings, Patricia Whitaker, Edward Whitaker Sr., Glen Whitaker, Lewis Whitaker, Odell Whitaker Jr., Thomas Whitaker and Frank Lee Peterson.
She is survived by: her sons, Lionell Jackson of Monticello and Tyrone Booker of Monticello; her granddaughter Lachelle Jackson of Monticello; and her sisters, Mae Holland of Monticello, Bessie Norman of Monticello and Flora Caldwell of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met – a limited amount of people will be allowed in the church and facemasks are required.
