Harold A. Scheraga Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold A. Scheraga of Monticello, New York, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 1, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Scheraga and Etta Scheraga; and his brother Morton. He is survived by: his brother David; his children, Judith Stavis (Donald), Deborah Scheraga (Aurel Kleinerman) and Daniel Scheraga (Janet); his grandchildren, Jonathan Stavis (Suzanne), Rebecca Stavis, Alexandra Kleinerman (John Hohm), Dana Kleinerman and Jeffrey Scheraga (Naima); and his great grandchildren, Luke, Reid Stavis, Wolfe and Kai Hohm.
A symposium in his honor is being planned after the covid-19 crisis ends.
