It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Flora Mae Armstead (Monticello, New York), who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Bishop Mervin Armstead, Sr.; her son James Alexander Paramore; and her siblings, Wayne, Herman and Chrissey Armstead.

She is survived by: her children, Shanita Artson (Masud), Sir Vincent Paramore and Chanel Duffy; her siblings, Theresa Armstead of Middletown, NY, Mervin Armstead, Jr. of Richmond, VA, Byron Armstead (Janet) of Atlanta, GA, Marcus Armstead of Monticello, NY and Eric Armstead; her grandchildren, Khalea of Washington, Tobias Brown, Jr., Xyaira Brown, Noah Artson, Jamir Artson, Taquan Artson and Skyla Brown; her nieces and nephews, Charise Armstead-Ali, Whitney Arrnstead, Kevin Armstead, Logan Armstead, Avery Castro, Brandon Salzman and Matthew Lindsay; and her goddaughter Tione Lane (Church).
