He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Scott and Verba Jean Thomas; and his son David Leon Scott II. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his children, Jennifer (Brandon Stroud), Beth (Edward Lewis), Lisa Scott and Jady Scott; and his grandchildren, Jayden, Emily, Hannah, Jacob, Sophia, Chloe and David.
