Strain Sr. of Monticello, New York, born in Walton, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Strain and Arvilla Peck Strain; and his brothers, Robert Strain, Jerry Peck, Mike Strain, Bill Strain and Donald Strain.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Decker Strain; his children, Ned Gardner, Grace Strain (Jonathan Lewis), Melissa Strain, Bruce Strain, Jr., Heather Strain-DeGraw, Amanda Strain (Daniel Morris) and Christopher Strain; and his sisters, Cathy Leibowitz and Linda Way.
Due to the current health crisis, social distancing guidelines must be met - a limited number of people at one time will be allowed in the funeral home, and facemasks are required at all times.
In lieu of flowers, well Bruce didn't like flowers, so instead just tell a joke and put a smile on someone's face.
