He was predeceased by: his brother Peter C. Groh. He is survived by: his wife Carol Bennett Groh; and his children, Michael W. Groh (Christine) of Highland, John R. Groh (Jill) of Barryville and Christine Daniella Venter (Kane Armstead) of Otisville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
