He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Boyd and Dorothy Viola Jones; and his siblings, Jean Bartow, Carol Davis, Mary Boyd, Dianne Casapulla and Robert Boyd.
He is survived by: his brother David Boyd (Grace Boyd); his wife Sherry Boyd; his children, Robin Abel (Sean Abel) of Rock Tavern and Thomas Boyd Jr. (Wendy Boyd) of Wallkill; his grandchildren, Falyn Dutcher, Shelby Dutcher (Trenten Potter), Bailey McGuire (Jack Hrbek), Kaylee, Emilie, Juleigh Boyd, Melyssa Gomez (Jordan Gomez), Chase, Aiden and Paige Cotthaus; and his great grandchildren, Isla Hrbek, Evan, Alyse, Aubry and Egan Gomez. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
